GameGune have confirmed the first six teams of the 32 to be attending the 1.6 LAN next month.

The UKs dignitas are confirmed as one of the six and will battle it out for a share of nearly £20,000.

Along with these six, astralis, now under the Hardwire tag, have said they are attending but this has not been announced by GameGune.

It has also been confirmed that there will be no American teams at the event due to ESEA Invite LAN finals. As well as this, fnatic, mTw and SK-Gaming are missing the event due to eSTARs Seoul conflicting with the dates.

Although less likey to attend in the first place, k23, TyLoo and WeMadeFOX will be not be attending for the same reason.

GameGune 2009 kicks off on Thursday the 23rd of July.

Dignitas are 1.6 Champs and in FIFA 09, Sensation beats Huge 4-2

The CS 1.6 Championship Final is done and dusted with Team Dignitas crowned UK champs. TCM looked good going into the first map, dust2, but they were not able to convert the momentum into a map win with Dignitas managing to claw their way back into the match and win dust2, 19-15. Map two was played on inferno and it was obvious from the start the TCM stood no chance as they were slaughtered 16-2.

In FIFA 09 on the 360, Sensation lived up to his name in his first match-up against Hugejarse in the first Premiership Semi-Final. Arse also lived up to his name by refusing to shake Sens hand post match after losing 4-2. The second semi-final gets underway shortly.

Over in the second area here at the UKeSA Grand Finals, Call of Duty 4 is next with the Alienware Cup Final between Enro and Celsus going live shortly.
